The Supreme Spiritual Council is the highest executive governing body of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church.
The President of the Supreme Spiritual Council is the Catholicos of All Armenians. The Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople serve ex officio as Vice-Presidents of the Supreme Spiritual Council.
The Council is composed of high-ranking clergy and lay members, some of whom are elected by the National-Ecclesiastical Assembly, while others are appointed at the discretion of the Catholicos of All Armenians.
Meetings of the Supreme Spiritual Council are held at least twice a year and, when necessary, more frequently.
